I dont think many use rctech as much as years past, Facebook is definitely more active than rc tech...

And I do not have a 97mm...I'm sure the stores should very soon with them getting the new v3 parts, so I'm sure they will also stock up on stuff they are out of

Hi.
i have some questions about flat landing.
My car sb401 is setup with orange yatabe springs rear and yatabe purpel frront springs.
I have some trouble that the car bounces on flat landings.
I have tried 300-550 oil in the shocks and 1,6-1.8 pistons. Full droop or with 4mm spacer inside of shock.

If i downside the jump i have no trouble.

Is my springs to stiff so that the car rebound to quickly and bounces?
or do you have another solution. seen som setup with harder springs and some with softer.
also seen some with weights in the rear.
I have no weights.

i saw that someone mentioned Facebook groups.
Is there some good ones for sb401 or some with racing advice?

Well it's time to lighten out the SB401 type-R, just ordered titanium screws, ball studs and turnbuckles from T-works
bring it on and zx12r785 like this.

get ya the aluminum dog bones for the rear arms and the front center bone...the front center is actually 1mm shorter than the standard steel one but theres plenty length still.....we used to make 75mm front bones for the LW but they got discontinued, but I'm actually gonna see if we can get them going again....but using the e others I could already see some more acceleration since they are half the weight of the stock ones

the older shocks have that problem without actually switching to the new type R shocks which I highly suggest..the quickest and cheapest fix is to glue a blank or any piston in the bottom of the barrel...you'll think I'm crazy but it's a known fix for the old shocks....the rear hop on flat landings is very hard to get to go away without that piston glued in the bottom of the barrel..
