Well, I stuck tight to the manual for all the holes and positions I used. But I tried the tip with the shocks and screwed the plastic end even further up the piston rod. I had maybe a millimeter of thread left. Now the clearance is there, though just maybe half a millimeter. Since the rim material itselfs seems to be rather flimsy and soft, I guess it doesn't make much difference anyway when racing on the track. But I'll try Fortunately I had the missing left sidepod in my letterbox. Again Kev took care of the problem immediately. Strangely I can't install the Corally BL motor now with the sidepod installed - I need to take it off again to make the motor with the aluminium carrier slip in the bracket.

Which springs did you install? I used the yellow ones all around (I think those are the firmest), but for my feeling the setup still seems to be a bit on the soft side. I used cps400 oil.

And what's your motor pinion gear? I'd try a 21T now on a 7,5T motor. 48dp.

I used green fronts and red rears for astro turf with 500cst oil in front and 400cst rear 1,6mm front and 1.7mm rear pistons

kit should come with full set of black and a full set of greens, which are harder than yellows and reds...we even have harder than the them as now we have multi colored ones for the stiffest available....red/blue for color and white/yellow....these in this chart are the same for the 401R , I just got this chart before the 401R was released

yellow

at my track 13.5 is our main 4wd class..but most mod guys I believe are around 16 to 19pinion with 81 spur...and my shocks are black front and green rear, and 37.5 wt front-35 wt rear, full droop, and full up travel....smooth smallish tight carpet track, but we have some fairly big jumps most the time, a decent wall ride, decent stairs section, with usual a swepeer to straight to another sweeper as our high speed area, and decent corner jump that can be scary sometimes if you come in Lil hot as its next to concrete wall lol.....sometimes I'll be Lil gussied and the second I leave the jump I'm like, oh shit this won't end good lol, most times she survives but a arm can only take so much lol...but I've come to like more droop than we used to run, as it gives me the travel to soak up the big stuff and have good chassis roll if I want it...but with type R shocks and towers it's made to run more droop while still hitting very low ride hights and plenty of shock travel...I know my v3r can hit around 8 to 9mm ride hight by just backing preload off.....

and yes with it being a skinny chassis it just don't allow enough movement left for the motor to be removed. so the side guard has to be removed

unless they made a last minute change to which came, it should have been a set of greens and a set of blacks...I will ask the factory tho to make sure which is right...you guys could be all good and I just wasn't told about the change...I just want to make sure you both and anyone else get the correct parts...give me just a bit and I'll repot back

The car hooks up like a mother with the green fronts and red rears, at least for me
