Not sure of your budget but if you are looking for the higher end here are my recommendations:

Motor: P2K2 or Monster stock motor
ESC: Quantum 2 or Novak GTX
Servo: Futaba S9451 or Airtronics 94360z
Radio: M8's can be found used for $150ish, pair that up with a Spektrum system and you are golden

A more money friendly option would be:

- Trinity P2K or Monster - $27
- Novak Dually - $90
- BMS-621 from www.slickzero.com - $22
- Airtronics MX-3 - $93

Thats if you intend to buy everything new. If not you can look in the FS/T forums. Great deals there.

Monster Stock Pro. $29
ESC: Refurbished Novak GT-7 $80 (Still has the Novak warranty)
Receiver/Radio: M8 w/ Spektrum ($300 total) or get Spektrum Dx3... $200

Otherwise, you'll spend just as much on crystals for whatever radio you choose.

For stock motor, a good balanced motor would be the P2k2 . If its a really wide open track you could try the Monster and its a tight one go with a P2k or Orion Core.

As for ESC, Tekin's G-10 and G-11 are really something. Easy to tune, loads of power, etc. Also no big capacitor to install either. This would be my top choice for ESC.

As for radio, the MX-3 is a nice system, at a minimum right now I would get a synthesized system so you don't need crystals and if you have the money go spektrum. You should be able to find JR systhesized systems on ebay easily for $100 or less and these are good too.
