CRT just took out the Australian Champs in Sydney with Ian Haley. Martin Wolhuter was TQ .

X1 CR also TQ'd and won the buggy Final. Overall a great result for Jammin/Hong Nor. They were the dominant brand in both classes.

nah. wont be making the challenge this year. I dont feel ready in the truggy class for that high of competition. I have only raced it once now at revelation, which was actually the first time I ever drove it. I love that thing. It took me a minute to get used to it but i ended qualifying 3rd overall behind 2 factory drivers, so once I get the hang of it, its on. Unfortunately, my air filter fell off in the second qualifier and toasted my compression just as I finished, so the engine wouldnt even stay running for the main. I just picked up a new beast though....the Picco P3 turbo. I just got it today and will be out there thursday breaking it in

Well I got my CRT last week, haven't finished bulding it yet, too many bodies to paint! I can't believe how heavy this thing is, what are you guys doing to reduce weight?

Also what are you guys doing with your inserts, and tires? I'm seeing that on all the Setup sheets on the Jammin site all the team drivers have the inner bead of their CF's mounted to the inside of the bead on the wheel. Making the wheel more narrow. Anybody tried this? What are you guys using for inserts? I've got some trinity maxx 2 stage foams, Panther molded foams, and Pro-line ultra firms. At this point I'm thinking that trimmed/narrowed Trinity's will be the way to go. The Panthers dont look tall enough, although I'm thinkin of mabye using the panthers and using some foam tape (or something similar) on the wheels to increase the diameter of the foams. And then of course narrowing them right down.

Wild Gopher- Let us know how that Picco works out. Before you run it though make sure you check the O-rings, in most Picco carbs they are trashed right out of the box.

Wheel Nut, if anything this truck is too lite. Picked up an LSP lately? No need to worry about weight. Answer to your question, most of us cut the inside bead off the stock CRT wheel and just glue the tire to the inside of that. This gives the tire more of a rounded shape, and works much better. For foams use something on the hard side to keep the tire from rolling over. Stock foams suck and wear out well before the tire. Pro-Line ultra firm and Racers Edge firm work very well. Try not to trim too much off the foams, doing so will cause the sidewall to flex to much

heres the link for the P3 turbo Picco .28
http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...oducts_id/5099

Im anxious to run this motor!!! Everyone is saying its a screamer, and gets great fuel milage, supposedly 8+ minutes. I'll keep you posted on how it runs. I never had any complaints about my modded P5 so hopefully it will outperform it.

Just ordered my RTR version as I am just getting back into Nitro and Off road at the same time.

Is there any one or two things that must be done to the RTR to make just that much better.
I will as I learn the vehicle more make the changes. Just wondered if there were some essential hop ups nessesary.
I already got a JP1 pipe as the stock one seemed more toward the mid to high range. Oh that and a starter box and the lower engine mounts.
Thanks in advance
