making R/C Bodies? Help!

Hi,

I would like to make my own design for a 1/10 buggy body. Are there are tutorials or any videos anybody is aware of for making a design? I have seen videos on how to make the mold and make the actual body, I just need some help on making the actual design portion.

Any help would be appreciated!!

Thank you!

Keep in mind that you need something like 2-3°minimum draft angle everywhere to make it easy to pull off and to drill small air holes if you can where the material is pulled negatively (usually bottom of windows, bumpers, etc).
This year I have made some with a machining foam (relatively expensive material, I'd say 10€ for just one mold) and it work fine. To drill it we took a bit of piano wire, flattened the end and sharpened it.
Other that that the design is pretty much anything that goes through your mind :) (as long as is fits of course your car and electronics).
You must remeber that you are stretching the material and will go thinner and thinner as you will go verticaly until it rips. So the lower the mold the easier it will be to mold, avoid big height differences.
