Thanks for the information.
Unfortunately it looks like the Rc8e body is discontinued.
Do you know if one of the 3 that are still being produced work?
MBX7R ECO, D815 or MBX7R

The 16-17 had issue with the front tires grabbing the body due to the chassis shape and side guards design, its no longer an issue with the 18.

One could get the 16 to be an 18 but you'd need to buy a full set of cvds, rear tower, chassis and ackerman parts, and then you'd still want the longer shock shafts and lighter swaybars.
Do you have information on the longer shock shafts? Are they the optional 58.5mm front shaft and 67.5mm rear shaft?

Bringing this thread back up to the top. This buggy is too good to be this far down in the list. Anyone running theirs lately?

Not that this car needs much if anything in upgrades but does anyone have any experience/opinions on VRP Gamechanger shock pistons and the Xray active differential?

I have used the VRP vx3 pistons and they are good.. especially throgth the whoop sections. I tried game changers as well.. and they weren't as good through the whoops.. but did land a little better off the big jumps . Bit at the moment I am using vx3
