Thanks for the information.
Unfortunately it looks like the Rc8e body is discontinued.
Do you know if one of the 3 that are still being produced work?

The 18 is a much improved car, especially when you add the longer shock shafts. Get the 18 with the longer shock shafts and a 2.0 front swaybar and a 2.2 rear swaybar... its by far the best version of the XB8.
The 16-17 had issue with the front tires grabbing the body due to the chassis shape and side guards design, its no longer an issue with the 18.
One could get the 16 to be an 18 but you'd need to buy a full set of cvds, rear tower, chassis and ackerman parts, and then you'd still want the longer shock shafts and lighter swaybars.

Not that this car needs much if anything in upgrades but does anyone have any experience/opinions on VRP Gamechanger shock pistons and the Xray active differential?
