My Savox servo quit centering correctly, and it has been so abused by this "sir crash a lot." So I just ordered a Tekin 250 servo to take over for now. This is a little hop up for the season to begin.

Hello y'all.

Building one. Got some questions.
Not sure if I should go with the pivot ball or c-hub. If you tried both, what did you settle on?
Grabbed some optional parts (below) anything in there better than stock? Will be doing all types of driving except racing on a track.

Thank you!!

I slapped a 17 pinion in this to see what would happen, it was like I woke up the dragon! I mean it was flat moving. Have a race in two weeks, so will find out then. My new motor screws came in and what a difference, the 4x14 mm screws are great on the motor. It is now very solid.

I would start with the pillow balls as I hear it is more forgiving.

My XRAY did fine at the race, but I was definitely in poor form. Just had a bad day as I haven't raced in some time and it showed. The car is fun and does it's best, but I just couldn't bring up my game. The new Tekin servo was amazing and did a great job. My biggest problem was all the dust and trying to find traction. So glad the XRAY is so tough because I really beat it up.

Put a JT wing on to see if it can help plant the rear end. This can gets sideways on full power, it is very fast.
