im looking to upgrade my rustler vxl, I have been doing a lot of reading and am not sure what do buy, im looking for speed and power for offroad.. can anyone help??

If your still running Ni-MH batteries then I would suggest switching to lipo batteries first. Make sure your charger can handle lipo batteries, if not you will need to upgrade that as well. Your truck will be able to run a 2S or 3S lipo battery.

For racing? Or just bashing around? If you want to start running on race tracks don't spend too much on your Rustler but get yourself an Associated B4.

If you're still running the stock serve I would recommend upgrading that. The stock one is not very good.
