Default DirtOval.com Race In Southern CA

West Region Race #4
Saturday & Sunday, September 3rd and 4th

Club race Friday Sep 2nd 7PM $10 1 heat 1 main
Sign ups close Sat @11AM
$25 First class $20 Additional class
Qualifying starts Sat. @1PM 3 rounds
Qualifying starts [email protected]:00 2 rounds 1 main

Track will be smooth, latex sealed, extreme hard pack,
blue groove surface.

Dirt oval.com classes all run rubber tires. No Caps. No Foam. Recomendations are CW rubber, Hpi slick, bald holeshot/rib. Any tire will stick 100%. Some will have more corner speed than others.

Local classes run under local rules.
Sportsman, novice, and gearbox wedge run rubber tires.
No Bullet Wedges in gearbox wedge.
Expert can run foam.
Mod Wedge caps ok for this race.
Monster truck and mini truck are open classes, run what you brung!
1/8 scale runs buggy body. Side board not to excede the rear wing. Foams recomended.
Sedan Wedge runs foam tires, 19 turn fixed, and haggerstown latemodel body. No sideboard.
Stock is 27 turn 24deg.

Lots of pit space, parking, and power. EZ ups are highly recommended. Show up early for a good spot as entries will easily surpass 150

Trailers and Campers are welcome; please check with staff about available spaces.

Classes will include all dirtoval.com tour classes plus all normal Racers Haven Hobbies classes.

All of our friday night classes will run + dirt oval.com stuff. You would be hard pressed to find a car that doesn't fit somewhere!
Novice Truck,Novice Buggy,Sportsman Truck,Expert truck,1/8 scale, electric sprint, gas sprint, open gas sprint,mod wedge,gearbox wedge, sedan wedge, monster truck, sportsman gas truck,expert gas truck,and open mini truck.

For those planning to travel to Bakersfield for the DODC series race on Labor Day weekend, here is a list of some hotels that are relatively close (3-4 miles) to the race track. To get maps to the locations, use the addresses and enter them on mapquest:

That's right Jon, How are you doing man? I moved back to Japan in April. I was TDY too much when I was at Edwards.

Thanks for the nice words Jon, Yeah it's too bad we didn't get a chance to race together again! I'll be here in Japan for atleast the next four years. After my tour is over who knows where I'll go next. I really liked CA so you never know....
