Default Mugen MSR X5

I just finished putting my x5 truggy together! i have a rb wsII ,werks clutch system. Does anyone run this kit?? im the first at my LT to have converted my prospec. guys run the hotbodies. THis is my first 1/8 truck and what should i expect driving this lovely thing, vers my prospec buggy????

tighten that servo saver down alot more than you had for the buggy, otherwise you'll be missing steering. Also, if you havent changed the front lower arms and knuckles to the new style you might wanna do that. They add quite a bit more steering which this thing lacks in comparison to the HB. Other than steering issues, its a great truggy.
One more thing, you might wanna try out the white springs all around

where did you get the conversion? Anyone know were I can get a cheap mbx5, so I can convert it also. The msr looks awesome

i got mine from http://www.carolinasrc.com it was 269.00 and thats the cheapist i have seen online. i know acehardwarehobies.com also has it. all you need is mbx5 roller and the conversion kit, and your good to go!! i have bought a few rollers from ebay for around 250.00

I had a problem with my brake linkage at first. i guess cause it was new, but i like it alot and it kick butt , and i jsut blow pass all the hotbodies. I have jsut installed a OS vsepc..and that things flys!!!!

check the screws that hold the big spur gear on also. One of them backed out on me after a day of running

hey, if anyone is interested ...

I posted tires and rims for sale for this truggy...


they are the exact ones included in the msr truggy conversion kit...

Pro line tires with rims and foams.... complete set of (4 )

never used.... not even glued on yet....

$60 shipped to U.S. , sorry to post this out of place,,, but it should be a really good deal for anyone w/ the MSR truggy...

have lots of glue when you to glue the tires back on.
