Do these newer associated models have a lot of slop in the a-arms and steering knuckles? I just assembled a sc truck and have an unusual amount of slop in the arms in the area around the hinge pins.

Really most 2wd have slop in the suspension inless you get a Kyosho, Xray which your paying for it lol.

So most need some shimming to take some play out.

I have run my B5M every week since Thanksgiving (10 weeks, ~60 runs) and it is still much better than any of my B4 based vehicles with new parts. I am running standard steering parts, but hard flat arms - all the same parts as I built the kit with.

My B5's compared to SC10.2 and T4.2, not as much slop. Where I see a lot of slop on the previous models is the steering, new models, nothing like the older, so much better. It is crazy though I take my T4.2 out which is a slop monster but on the track it feels great, go figure.

pretty sure in Kody's interview on RIP he stated that there will be a 5 series for all current platforms. That would include an SC. So I would bet that it is something they are working on....you cant release everything at once.

They might be trying to figure out what to do. MM vs RM. Cav won nationals with the SC in RM and the TLR guys went MM. MM was not good from what I heard. Locally on high bite, the guys seem to like the MM SC. But SC is one of those classes that people love to run outdoors and bigger looser tracks.

Yeah I didn't say anywhere that I expected that. Or that I expectec anything all . Just curious if they felt it had fallen off enough to not release one.
