There was a HB D413 part recently that several of us had back ordered with Tower. The part showed up in stock but some of the back orders didn't get filled. But, it turned out that they shipped to western states from their Nevada warehouse and then the next day they shipped to eastern states when supply of the part made it to their Illinois warehouse.

My guess is that something similar will happen with this kit.

I've been preordering associated kits from tower since the SC10 4x4 was released and more often then not I get the kit before I even realize it was finally available. Mine also looks as if my backorder was unfilled but I don't want to get too worked up about it as I have received the first shipment of all preorders. (8 new releases, soon to be 9) I cannot imagine that any kits would be posted as "in stock" when there were back orders still left unfilled. I'm willing to bet that all the kits that were available for sale last night were extra over and above all back orders.

Update from towers. Anyone on the west coast who preordered it they have shipped to them. And the 10 or so last night that were on the website were the left overs from the Nevada distribution center. The east coast pre orders will go,out Monday bc they haven't arrived in the Illinois place yet. Then there will be extras again from that facility

I spoke with Tower this morning and if you're on the East Coast and you have a back order, your back order will be filled on Monday from the Reno warehouse. Hope this helps!

It was kinda' funny when I was speaking with customer service rep., they have had several calls this morning with this exact question/situation (filling new orders before fulfilling back orders).

I would order from my LHS, but they can hardly keep tires on the wall.

Oh yea...we have one shop charging 279 plus 40 for shipping...even if you're picking it up. Another shop is selling for 279 tax included! Redrock hobbies kicking ass as usual with good pricing.
