B & H photo, it's an Oben BA-106 or 106T head. Prices seem to change all the time.

Edit: They slip a little at first so I put a little "grit" in the ball head and they're pretty solid now. They make some larger 108's that have a higher grip rating but the 106 seems just dandy for 1/10 scale weights.

Looks to me like it may be a camera tripod ball head. Great idea.

Thanks. Whole thing looks really good. I've been thinking about a setup board that I can kinda plug a pivoting stand into. I've got a good router table and everything so I just need to get off my butt and build it. Guess I'm getting off topic here though.

For now, buying individually, sure.

As history shows, I'm sure the new shocks will be phased in. Willing to bet we see another T5m release next year that includes everything we get now plus something like FT bearings, FT turnbuckles, and these new shocks, all for the same current kit price or $20 more.

I think that you are mistaken. What I think is going on is that AE is upping their game and the prices will eventually be on par with the the premium manufactures like Tamiya and Kyosho. Even at cost, those new shocks are twice what the old ones were. There's no way they are going to toss those in with other stuff for $20. I think Thunder Tiger wants to start raising prices and upping their margins.

Well add me to the list of people who bent the aluminum FT steering linkage. Stock plastic went back in. Bent right below the ball stud for the servo linkage.

Proline’s customer service says to look for ST Electrons to be released on 5/15/15.. Hopefully they come with closed cell inserts like their competitors.

A friend got his SLRC T5M chassis last night.

1 word: Amazing.

No surprised, it's amazing on the B5M.

Need to hop on the face-books and search up "stiky licks RC" and that's the man.

Has anyone weighed their truck yet, wondering where they sit ready to run about with shorty and 3 gear. Roar minimum is 1700 grams.
