how do you set toe?
I've been showed a couple different ways but neither of them make a lot of sense to me. Can someone explain how to do it? Also should the toe be 0 and in the negatives? What's the handeling difference in nevagitive toe and nuetral? Thanks guys

First thing I do is make turnbuckles same length. Then set camber (may or may not be necessary at the beginning). Then I just measure the distance between tires. I compare the distance measured at the rear of the tires to the distance measured at the front of the tires. Just pick out reference points on each tire when measuring. Make sure to go back and check camber and then re check toe after completion.

I am so glad someone asked that. I always just eyeballed it, but knew it was never perfect.

I use set up gauges to set my Toe and camber. I like the consistent readings it gives vs measuring with the wheels on.

I also use the board method. Like mentioned, Make sure the links are the same length and trim is set. Due to the way the horns mount on servos, zero on the radio is not always optimal. The other thing I do that has not been mentioned is when I go to check the toe, I make sure the radio & car is turned on 1st. That way you're not guessing with the proper location of the tires.

This one is a little out of the ordinary but stay with me.
Download a level app onto your smartphone, (I prefer to use the bulls eye level)
Put some wheels on your car and find a level surface.
Set you car on its side and place you smartphone on top of the opposite wheel.
If the surface you set the car on is level the measurement on the opposite wheel should be the amount of toe you have.
You can also check to see how many degrees of slop you steering has.
This of course is only as accurate as your phone is , but it better than eyeballing it.
