Alternatives to Simple Green

Alternatives to Simple Green
Just wondering about any good alternatives to Simple Green. I have psoriasis on my hands and the Simple tends to dry and cause cracking. I have some Purple Power that I haven't used before but I'm not sure how it reacts to the parts or people. I like the way Simple works on my cars but I'm just looking at other options.
Thanks for the help,
Mark

For tires I don't know of a substitute, but for chassis cleaning I us trackpower wax lubricant. Apply with a tooth brush then wipe down with a towel. Keeps everything looking new and smelling nice.

perhaps just mix up some dove soap in some water.

Go to your local Auto parts store and get some latex work gloves over 100 pair of throw away. usually around $12 and keep using the simple green

That's probably the solution. Cleaning agents are solvents. I can't imagine any of them are easy on skin.
Unless you're running nitro, solvents are rarely needed. Aside from blasting old diff grease out of diffs, you can pretty much just brush and wipe everything clean enough. Shocks don't ever need solvents, for instance. Just wipe away the old oil and it's plenty clean enough for new.

Tech Adept
If that is the same purple power I have. It melts the chain lube on my motorcycle like a hot knife through butter. First time I used it, I had chemical burns on my hands. 500% stronger than simple green.
Sounds like you need good gloves. either the cheap 100 per box or a good pair.
Buzz.

+1 on the Motul. The Helmet wash is also good for bodies.
Honda also has a cleaner that's just as good, and the old style version is even better. Forget the exact name. I'll let a Honda guy chime in on that.
You could just use latex gloves.
