Losi 22SCT Electronics
#1

Ok...been lurking here a while, but this is my first real post. I'm getting back into the game after a 20 year break, and the 22 SCT is my next targeted purchase.
The main question I have for right now is on the electronics that come with the 22SCT RTC. I am looking to buy a SCT, to race at my LHS (Trains and Lanes in Easton PA). They run a SCT 2wd Stock class indoor in winter. The RTC would get me the whole package, but I don't need the radio(just the rest of the package).
Is the esc it comes with good? If I wanted to go modified, can this esc handle it?
Thx!

Welcome back! For stock racing you should be ok (it comes with a 17.5t motor) but the esc is only rated down to a 13.5 motor (which would be considered super stock) and i think most mod guys are running <10.5 motors so you would need to replace the esc at some point.
You might just look into the kit and building it up with what you need/want.

So now, I need to find good mid-range motor and esc. So the journey continues!
Thx for the input.
