Default Battery question

What are the best batteries for Losi xxx t? I am after some extra grunt from the battery but also would like good run time.

Do you have a descent charger?

GP3700's and IB3800 are the best out there now.

www.promatchracing.com (GP3700)

Thanks Sean. Batteries are pretty full on when you know nothinga bout them!
Hobby shop is giving me a charger and 2 batterypacks but I reckon they will be ok for the backyard but nothing else.

IB3800's actually don't have quite the same capacity as the GP cells. They also have slightly more internal resistance I believe.

During our extensive testing, we have found the opposite to be true. The IB3800's seem to perform the best right now, with the GP3700 following very closely behind. Both are good cells and capable of winning any race.

Thats pretty much what i have heard as well. The IB cells have a slightly higher voltage and less IR.

By the looks of things it seems that the IB3800 has been proven.

They don't have a site up yet....

Feral packs are very good as well, AND Australian!

Go to the OZ part and read...

I doesn't matter much what packs you have if you never race though.
