Im STILL looking at my first nitro, and the ravager is one of the lower priced vehicles, so is it any good?

Do you want to get into racing or are you just messing around by yourself?

Well the Ravanger is basically the 9.5 buggy, which I had for a year. Its definately a good buggy, its not quite up to par on the race course, but it is damn tough and would actually make a good first race buggy. After all its 80% driver and 20% car on the track, so really having a reliable buggy is most important. I really liked my 9.5 (aka ravanger), now I've got a Jammin X1CR and it is wicked, alot more stable on the track than the 9.5, but unless your a decent driver you cant tell the difference anyway.

I wont be at tracks racing, I will be at/near home most of the time. So I will probably just use it for bashing, but then if I decide to race I wont go out to buy a new car I will just get new engines and stuff. At least untill I have a good job .

Yeah they are fun, but they wont handle the rough terrain like a monster trcuk will though thats for sure. For jumping and high speed stuff they are awsome. Not to mention they are way stronger than the typical monster truck.
