Default Servo recommendation for 1/8 Buggy?

Just bought a Losi 8ight 2.0 and would like some recommendations for servos. I dont want to break the bank but would like decent quality and performance.

Everyone's definition of break the bank is different, but I prefer something with silly speed so use Futaba S9352HV's in my 1/8 buggy and 4wd SC's.

Savox are reasonably good and well priced to, but I'm not sure which version would be most suitable for you.

Obviously, what you intend to use the car for will dictate the specs you need and therefore the price required.

Savox 1256 would be a good choice.

I went with the Protek 130t. It's $90 and comes with an aluminum servo horn ($12 value). The torque and speed are fantastic for that price.

Hitec 7955 is hard to beat. Pretty much the most reliable servo there is.

Hitec 7954sh is also awesome. Can be picked up for 80$ shipped

400 oz of torque is very good. Hitec customer service is also superb

in terms of performance/ quality:

kopropo > futaba bls = sanwa > futaba = ace > hitec > savox

best bang for the buck? ace ds1015 or hitec 7955tg

don't buy a savox they are noisy, hungry and ugly

I had really ggod luck with the Spektrum 6030 and 8000. I recently picked up a Futaba 9352 and it is amazing! priced a bit higher than others mentioned but the specs are incredible and it is indeed high voltage capable if you decide to go that route!

I picked up a Savox 1268 for about $80, it's been running great but it really needs high voltage to wake it up. Torque jumps from 200 oz/in on 6v to almost 350 oz/in on 7.4v.
