What exactly did they change on the Rear shocks danny ? Aside from the Diameter that is. The Mugen shocks have always worked outta the box for my Fanatec Pedal mod and would like to know if i can continue to suggest them to the guys. Shaft length longer or shorter ? have they always been 16mm ?

Your in luck. They used to be 15mm, now they are 16mm, the lengths stayed the same.

darn, the 16mm is a potential problem.

see how close the cap sits to the load cell block.(granted its just a chunk o Aluminum i can modify/grind for clearance)

Problem is most noobies who just want a better shock on their pedals dont want to start grinding on them.

Thanks Danny

Has anyone else had the front lower hinge pin inserts crack? I have not taken many direct hits / crashes on the front end. Noticed some play, and upon examination found this. Do they too need boiling like the a arms?

Only time I broke/cracked one of those was when I snapped a hinge pin. I wouldnt call it common.

Thanks, I have replaced them since, just found it strange. But I am keeping an eye on it now.

had this on my mbx7r eco buggy. I think those insert should have been longer ( with a longer hinge pin )
but I only broke one and had lots of very bad crashes without breaking another insert

thanks for the pics !

i bash the mbx7r and quickly broke the front arms. They did have the thicker plastic too, which surely helped, but my guess is that the kind of compound they use for the plastic is too stiff. it doesn't absorb hits
