Default BK2 battery question

im up for new batteries and want to get IB3800's. First of all where is the best place to get these?
at the moment im using GP3300's and they just fit into the BK2 (including bashing the bars down), will the IB3800's fit? (are they the shorty cells?)

thanks

GP3300's are 2mm shorter then the IB3800 so it will be even harder to squeeze these packs in. It was a pain trying to fit IB3600 in my BK2. The main reason why these packs don't fit in properly is because the battery wire takes up at least 2.5mm of space so you may need to solder a tab on both + and - then solder the wire onto the tab. This means that the battery wires will not be in the chassis, it will be rather on top of the battery.

When i solder my packs, i dont connect the wire directly to the battery. I have battery bars as tabs. I really want to get IB3800's, but if they cant fit i will have wasted over US $250. do you know the dimensions of the intellect 3800 cell (just height)? i think my 3300 aren't the shorty cells as they are 2 years old

is anyone sure they will or won't fit?
