Default OFNA X3 Sabre Electric or Nitro 1/8 Off-Road Race Buggy Kit

Anybody running these in the electric setup? I've always had good luck with Ofna/Jammin stuff and this seems like great bang for the buck!?

Its an ofna, that's the problem. I personally love them and think this is a great buggy. But most guys out there if its isn't an associated or losi its nothing. If your in for a quality ride give this buggy a shot.

Wow, ofna has really dropped the price on this buggy. The X3 sabre is ofna's high end premium race buggy. I don't think you can go wrong with this car at that price.

I think the problem of this buggy is that it looks like an upgraded LX2-e, which was a terrible vehicle.

They are great. I don't have one but several guys running them at my local track and also race them. Both electric and nitro. It has nothing to do with LX2. The only reason I am not getting one is because I have 3 other buggies. But for $325 I might consider getting another LOL.

I am actually running both the nitro and electric version of this car and all I can say is that I am extremely pleased with how these cars perform. A few of us run the X3 Sabre's in So Cal and are doing very well with them. I know they are not one of the more popular cars on the market due to the fact that OFNA does not have big name team drivers promoting the product but you have to take into consideration that this car is produced by Hong Nor who also produced the JAMMIN car which was very popular in its day. The car handles, flies and corner's very well and is extremely stable. I have 2 videos of the X3 Sabre e running on an indoor and outdoor track posted on youtube. Just search X3 Sabre e posted by mapracing100.

I believe it's because they are not moving much of the product.

Several top guys in Australia are running them and doing very well, electric and nitro, but still nobody is interested in them, strange world we live in...

I have the electric and think it's great everywhere I take it

I ordered it. For $325 shipped from a reputable place like nitrohouse, it was a no brainer. Plus it comes with nitro and electric stuff. It's going brushless but I can use some of the nitro stuff it comes with (clutch, flywheel, air filter, pipe etc) on my jammin I have now too.

now I need to figure out which motor/esc to use..
