Default SC10.2 FT vs Losi 22SCT

Hello All,

So have this down to these two, there is about a $70 difference in price between them with the favor going to the losi.

I am truly torn...on the one hand I already have a B4.1 and the tools to support it, thus the Sc10.2 would fit right in and I presume I could cross over some parts between the two

On the other hand more people race the 22sct at my local track and the price is better, plus it is different for better or worse.

Want to make a decision soon as I have electronics en route.

Thanks

I know but I wish there was one point about either that would make the decision easier for me...leaning towards the losi but the AE is familiar though more expensive

I have heard the losi is more rugged, not sure how true that is.

I've had both and prefer the losi, see this thread is pointless.
The losi is cheaper, wears better and more durable.
The AE is lighter and has cheaper parts.
They both drive good.
Get whatever other people have at your track so you can have setup help.

I had a 22sct but I now drive a sc10.2. They are both good. If you like your B4 get the sc10.2

I like the chassis layout of the Sc10 better and the design is familiar to me given it is so close to the b4 though I wonder if the losi is considerably more durable as I do feel at times the Associated is breakable at least with my driving

heard that the sc10 has more steering than the losi. big bores are great and do not leak

nah. best way is flip a coin and which ever you find yourself rooting for while the coin is in the air, go for that one.

are these two SCT the hot ticket for racing or are there other competitors that do just as good?

I would like to chime in!
There is a better solution out there.
Kyosho SC6!

I have had a SC10, 22SCT, and SC/R
The Kyosho was the best 2WD SCT I have ever driven.
That being said I can't imagine their new truck (SC6) will be any different!

There's others that are also competitive, but none that have the same spread of parts support as AE and Losi. Kyosho, Durango and Team C are three from the top of my head.

If you're new to the class or EP offroad in general, I would buy whichever truck more people are running at my local track. This way you'll have an easier time getting setup tips etc.

The amount of shared parts between the B4/SC10 is pretty huge. Something to think about.

My son drives a 22sct, I drive the SC10.2, the 22 looks way smoother on the track, it looks like it drives "lighter" on the track, but when it comes down to turning, the 22 is no where near as nimble as my SC10.2. Both trucks are very nice, but as stated above it is nice having all of your cars in the same family, B4 SC10 or 22 and 22sct. some parts interchange if youre in a bind and doing better in one class over the other and something breaks, hobby shop doesn't have it you can steal it from your other car. one set of tools instead of two.
