Default SDRC Info...specifically Friday night racing

Ok so I have a post in the Track Locator forum but not getting any feedback. Thanks to Matt Trimmings for the lone response.

Looks like I will be traveling to San Diego for work around the 21st of March and some research has shown me that the company I'm going to visit for work is 2.8 miles from SDRC so I'm planning on taking my B5 with me. What are the Friday night races like? If my work day runs normally I will be done with work by 3:00p so I will have plenty of time to get over there and practice a little before racing starts.

Any SDRC Friday night racing info is appreciated. Thanks

Isn't there a thread in the California forum that may have info for you?

There's a Cali Forum? I looked in Track Locator and Racing.

Edit: Hey look at that...there's a thread. But it doesn't seem to get much play (I know I never scroll down that far, totally forgot the regional forums were even there) though...I do now know that there is a new layout as of last week. But yu only have to go back 5 posts to get to a post from 2013.

Thanks guys. So it looks like the suggested tires are the same as I use here, quick question though. In 2wd Buggy are people using closed cell or open cell foams up front? I suppose it wouldn't be that hard to bring both so maybe it doesn't matter but just wondering.

What will Friday afternoon practice followed by racing cost me in terms of fees?

Fridays are usually "Fill em up fridays" its $20 and you can race as many classes as you like.

and i believe the racing fee includes practice beforehand too
