Questions?? X-Factory SCX-60CFB

I'm looking to convert my AE SC10B to a mid motor. Has anyone used the X-Factory SCX-60CF conversion kit to do this? I've been told it's pretty straightforward.

Anyone have any pictures or comments on the conversion?

Thanks

I watched one win the Cactus Classic last year and one won the Short Course Showdown Tour round in Florida last year. They are good. Speedy Dad makes body mounts and bumper mounts that bolt onto the sc to adapt the rear bumper and body

Glad to hear it was done, and successfully. Would you happen to know the part numbers needed for the conversion and if there was any hacking needed?

Thanks!

It's an easy conversion. The front bumper and body mount bolt right up. The rear bumper and body mount bolts up to the SpeedyDad CF and aluminum parts and then bolts to the rear shock tower. You do need to cut the rear body mount down to fit it up. The CF side body mounts bolt up to where the side bumpers would normally go. You will need a new AE body. The big change is that you do not cut out the rear side panels, you leave the shell whole and trim the rear area out to clear the tower and shocks.
