My buddies and I have enjoyed this track very much.
It doesn't take many cars on it to bumper race.
Turn Marshall simply with a drivers on either side of track.
Superb for 1/10th buggies and stadium trucks 17.5T motors rule on this one

Here is a couple images of the little track:

This track does not work good with 1/8th scale RC's, you cant really open them up.
I decided to build a bigger track beside the small one so I can still use the small one for 17.5t class

Here begins the details of the new big 1/8th scale track in the works with four turns, three left one right, high speed straight away and more:

Got the design laid out and the area cleared of leaves and branches...

The ground here looks good but dont be mistaken, there's a web of roots and grape vines just below and at the surface so bad that you have to watch your step or it will trip you up.

I tried to pull at them by hand for a few days but got really sore and gave up.
Then I asked a favor from a good friend and borrowed his walk behind rev/foward tines tiller. The vines and roots were so bad they clogged the tiller I had to use my sawsall and hand saw and kept having to clean the tines until they stopped clogging. Two days and two gas tanks in the tiller later, and the ground was finally loose and free.

Whatever the tiller did not tangle up in the tines, was left in the dirt. Mostly little chopped up pieces. But I did not want them in the path so I made a hard-tooth rake and began raking the dirt, pulling out the trash.
After the whole track was raked, I used a 10"x10" hand tamper and tamped the entire surface. ... :weird: im glad thats over ....

I used a come-along and axe to pull the two stumps out from the lane in the right side of images then made a quick pass over the track with the leaf blower. It is, at this point, now ready to test!

Two of us drove on the track for the first time. We used a pair of Tekno SCT410 trucks. Even without any jumps the track was awesome!:D
I now have a feeling for where I would like to place the jumps. I only want to have a rumble strip, one single jump, one double jump and a straight away for undisturbed high speed. More updates to come...

I love that there is trees for shade and wind block. My track is in the open where the sun bakes on me and wind blows too much.

Looks like a nice large space, those trees are going to make line of sight interesting, but they are nice and thin. Going to be damn cool.

here, I fixed your video links. Just pull out everything before and including the = from the share url.

Thanks for the help on the youtube links.

The images I've posted are taken from that one specific angle because its the best view of the entire track from a camera lens point of view. I like to stand on the left side ... hard to describe.
Also planning to cut a couple of sick and crappy trees out from the center so that will make the line of sight even better

I've uploaded a vid to show more clearly the layout
