I wouldn't expect anything less from you. Run your site as you see fit. Take your toys and go in the house and say I can't play. It's your site.

homer,
are you that thick headed to see that your actions here might have triggered this? and why do you need to see a police report? thats none of your buisness. why would she make something up like that now in my opinion you have pushed to far, reminds me of something my father told me long ago" better to keep your mouth shut and let everyone THINK your an idiot than to open it and remove all doubt"

good luck in the future homer

Well damn right, it's his site! He can run it how he sees fit... I agree with you on some things, Homer, but this is one I disagree on for sure. Shane has an awesome site here. What other forum can say they have near 24,000 members? And I see 361 on RIGHT NOW! And don't try and say Shane locks and changes things here. He lets a lot of crap go on here, more than he should, but I really respect him for that. He usually lets arguments run their course... Good call by Shane.

Another point: Who are we to judge whether or not harrassing calls were made? She said she was receiving them, and felt threatened. Not for me or you or anyone else to call out, "Well let's see the phone records, then!" Come on, my friend. Let's just relax and let things go for awhile.

What did I do to futureal now? I send people here all the time. I think I took his name calling rather well. I bet he expected me to vent, but I didn't. I'll be the jerkoff, big deal. You guys can hate on me all you want. If you are happy with ROAR keep voting and supporting them. It's hard to believe that a dude in BFE has this much influence that ROAR felt threatened enough to closed shop and tuck tail and run.

I think that with name calling and he-said-she-said that things ROAR figured that things were no longer productive on their forums. I happen to agree with them. There are serious issues within ROAR that need to be dealt with but the name calling isn't going to accomplish anything.

I never referenced childish names in my battles. However I will commend the owner of this site for resorting to calling me a jerkoff. It sounded so much better coming from him than me.

Completely agree. Any valid points of concern that the initial poster had have been seriously tainted by all this. If you want to see change you need to remove emotion and present facts in a mature manner, otherwise it simply resembles a meaningless internet forum flame.

You guys must be new to the racing scene with ROAR. Mature, intelligent conversations get you no where. You have to make some noise to be heard at ROAR.

I just tried the mature and politeness on another site ,I will not mention and what happens. Rick Wilson steps up and freezes it and tells me he's addressed my concerns many times. I have ask him one particualr question 4 times with no answer.

That question is, am I eligible for run for VP? It's yet to be answered. Can anyone here answer it?

Back to an earlier conversation. I never thought for a minute that the owner of this site was editing, deleting and killing the ROAR threads. We all know who was doing it.

i for one am upset that they chose to shut the ROAR fourm down, while i dont think this was homers fault directly and i do feel they could have handled it better. i think homer you should apologize for stepping over the line your upset i get it,but be the bigger man and put it behind you.

one last note, homer i better see you running for some sort of post when the elections come up or all of this was for naught and everything being posted about you will be spot on.

Steve if some one threatened me and I was concerned I would go to the police. I would not tip them off on a public forum in which they got my number from. With the advent of caller ID, threats are few and fair between.
If some one called me and threatened me over toys cars. I would laugh at them first.
