Team Orion VS Trinity Revtech

Hello, just wondering if anyone had any opinions on preference of Trinity Revtech LIPO vs Team Orion LIPO batteries? Specifically, I'm looking at the 2s 6500mAH 90c Carbon from Team Orion, or the Trinity Revtech 2s 7150mAH 100c. I appreciate any input!

Either is a good company really.

Honestly for lipos I would look at Gen Ace, Turnigy (hobbyking), or SMC as you will get a better bang for your buck. Additionally Orion just came out with newer 7k+ packs so you might want to hold off a bit and get those instead of the 6500s

One thing you might also want to consider with those two packs is if you want to use 4mm or 5mm plugs. I also agree with taking a look at SMC packs.

who is ever going to use 100c? thats over 700 amps continuous, for rc cars in 1/10 and ⅛ you will never hit that.the only plus i could see is maybe they have a lower IR rating, but since you will most likely be using these in MOD (my guess) that is not as important. go with smc, great packs, and a great value.

nobody come here and say they have their little buggy pulling 700 amps.

for stock, if that is your thing...go with low internal resistance packs, and lower capacity packs, as they will weigh less.
