Nah, look at the TLR 22sct, tons of adjustments, new style aluminum chassis, big bore shocks, blah blah blah, and everyone I have talked to they say the chassis is a pain to get working right and when it does, its nothing special.

I'm sure Kyosho will get this truck working well, but I doubt it will be much better than the SC-R, but if its even just as good, it's still the best SC truck on the market in my opinion.

If anything it will be stronger than the SC-R.

those were the things I liked about the rb6..Less parts to replace,no more rear bottom plates,no more tranny cases to break,no more front top plates to buy..It will be a good deal

They should offer a plastic chassis.
Plastic>aluminum.

for stock forsure..

Anyways how many of these things you think will sell? I have no doubt that this will be a top notch car but how many people are running 2wd short course at your local tracks compared to other classes? curious... that's all.

I know there will be at least 2 of these truck at the track near me. 2wd Sc seems to go in waves here on about a 6-8 month cycle.

Well hopefully the truck will be out soon. Talked to one of our racers that raced the first round of the JBRL on March 8th and one of the Kyosho team drivers hadn't even received his yet, he was supposed to get it right before the Cactus. Maybe the top guys had already received theirs but this team driver I would certainly consider one of the top guys.

Posvar 03-14-2014 07:09 AM

As of yesterday at Cactus not a single driver has them yet...................

Posvar 03-14-2014 07:10 AM

There will be a few at our local track as at least 4 guys run the scr-sp currently...

CaseyD 03-14-2014 01:50 PM

Wow none at cactus, hopefully just because they didn't have time for setups. I hope they have it out by April sometime.

17.5 SC is almost as popular as 2WD mod buggy, mod SC shows up when the track is setup for it.

our track is 75% SC10, 15% 22sct, 9% slash and 1% other. When I get done whoopin' butt with the Kyosho they are like "what truck was that? :weird: ) I also get the traxxas guys complementing my "slash" saying how competitive a slash can be, and then I have to tell them its a Kyosho, and they are usually not happy about that.
