Whats the different from the SCR and the new SC6 ?
sorry...new to 2wd !!

Aluminum chassis, improved steering rack and the option to run mid motor are the major changes.

The SC-R SP is a great truck if you want one pm me.

The shocks look to be plastic capped with a bleeder screw? Am I seeing this correctly?

cram450 04-20-2014 09:42 PM

Just built mine I did not run the servo saver anyone else running that also the plastic shock caps are kind of lame for a kit with this price tag.

J-RO 04-21-2014 05:30 AM

anybody get some track time on this truck this weekend??

1967rs 04-21-2014 06:16 AM

Just finished mine last night, hope to get it on the track today or tomorrow.

I used a TLR aluminum servo horn tapped to 3mm.

The plastic shock caps are not as nice as the aluminum, but I have been running them on my RT6 and have not had a problem.

That's all I needed to hear :ha: Sold... would be nice to hear more though.

So I asked this in the RT6 forums, I'll ask here as well.

I'm thinking of using the Tebo (mid motor) RT6 as a base setup since it is essentially the same platform. Good or bad idea? Just can't find a good base setup for the SC6 anywhere.

Also running boosted 17.5 at our small, technical indoor clay track with 70 foot straight, shall I stick with the stock 80T spur? I also have a 76T as well? What pinion?

Cody Turner won mod sc at the JBRL at Coyote Hobbies with his SC6 this past Saturday running rear motor. We have few MM at my home track and they are really fast.

Does anyone have any video of one in action?

Oh man I thought it was mid. Good catch..

I wish they would post his set up because I have been watching him driving the sc6 way before it came out and I was blown away.

Rear v. Midmotor

My truck arrived yesterday! Debating on RR or MM configuration?
From the set-up sheets I have seen looks like rear motor for now!
Any feedback on rear v. mid???
