The floating servo should not even be an issue...( looks like the mount is pretty beefy )... plus the Yokomo B-MAX4 III also uses one and they do not have any issues at all

Yokomo....good car but front end is a little weak... TRF503 has a proven front end design from the TRF501x series( DB01 ) that is pretty much a TANK... If your not looking to buy lots of spares and or if your not a "top level" driver the 503 would be more towards your liking

Do you have a web site for joyhobby. I found an online store but could not find the 503 listed.

i beg to differ... i believe that the most tank like car, would still be broken, if subject to abuse.

i am one of those who gotten the TRF501X in the early batch. all i can is wow, i love it. the car drove well with out of the box settings, and totally no issues with brushless power, at that time.

however, with that being said, other than wear and tear on the belts, pulleys.. i do have a few CF front tower broke off, due to the fact that it is only 3mm thick. and of cos, front arms, c-hubs, steering hub, etc.. well, that's part and parcel of RC racing/bashing, isn't it. as such, i seldom would refer to a car's reliability as a tank nowadays.

fast forward to today, i am still having the 501X, however, my son drove it most of the time. i've seen the sexy little beast at our LHS already, and really, i am tempted to purchase it, if not for the much higher price point and lack of body shell. if i can offload my 1/8 buggy, it might be a different story tho..
