Most durable 4wd buggy?

Hot Bodies D413 is the most durable 1/10 scale 4wd buggy currently in existence. Hands down.

The Schumacher K1 is the toughest wheeler I've seen yet, we (myself included) have put those buggies through their paces and the only thing I ever killed was a front arm. I hung it up on a nail over our big triple and the arm got tired and broke itself in half. HAHA, but really they take a beating and keep on going.

+1000 on the XB4. I'm one of those not so great drivers. Been running my XB4 over a year and it's survived some pretty horrific crashes. So far haven't broken anything but wings, and they don't count. Did pop a ballcup a few times when it was loaded with clay and lost a cva pin once. I watched the class for a good while before buying and bought spares based on what other cars would break and haven't needed one of them so far. Pretty much indestructible IMO.

Looking at the D413 thread (including some ppl who sold it), I would hold off until parts come in and someone makes a nicer metal spur gear. Plus its CF which is a no no for sugar tracks unless you want to put those stupid protectors on.
Currently I would rank the xb4 the toughest wheeler. Barring the ring gear issues of course.

It is tough, I slammed a cinder block wall at speed in cartwheel mode and only popped off a shock cap. And many other tumbles / bad landings with no damage.
But durability implies time, which this car has not been public hands long enough to really claim yet.

I will say that the DEX410 is one of the most frustrating cars I've ever owned.
Reason being is that when it stays together it's an awesome car and really hard to beat. But the staying together part is the problem.

I love my XB4. I ordered it before it was originally released and have beat the snot out of it. Up until this past weekend I broke almost nothing on it. Running on a new layout with a very unforgiving, difficult to judge, back set of jumps, I broke 2 rear hub carriers, two ball cups and a rear arm. I've never broken that many xray parts in one day before. A combination of terrible driving and bad luck all contributed to one of the worst race days I've ever had. I have yet to damage my diff crown and pinion gears or any of my drive shafts, like many people I know have, but I don't run my slipper super tight. That makes a huge difference . I'm still using the original gears a year and a half later. It is definitely a durable car, but certainly not indestructible. I was very surprised by how many things I managed to break last weekend, but I'm 100% sure that no other car would have survived those tumbles I had either.
The D413 does seem to be a great car, but HPI/HB are just terrible for parts support, for all of their cars. If you want to run their cars, you need to buy 2 kits just to have some spares it seems.
One of my friends runs the v3 dex410 and it seems they have improved it a lot. He told me he boiled all the plastics first though, so that probably helped the durability a bit.
The 22-4 looks like a great car too. That new Team-C car looks great. The Yokomo as well. Same with the Caster and the s-works cars. Now is an awesome time to get into 1/10 4wd buggy. Lots of great choices.
