All depends what you are looking for. Taper down is typically how I like them. More pack with flat side up, the taper gives less pack so is good for rebound.

I just tried some hexes off of an losi scte and they fit perfect. Might be a cheaper alternative to the teamc 12mm ones

I bought a "used" TM4 online and it came with Losi 12mm hexes all around that work great.

The more I read reviews on Team C the more I'm starting to like them. I'm actually thinking about getting one of their 4wd buggies so I can race 4wd class too but I'm confused on the different models they have.

On their website I see they have a
T4 FT
T4 v3
TC04
TM4
TR04

what's the difference between all of them? I know this is the TM4 thread but I'm assuming there are some Team C fans/drivers that may be able to help me out.

thanks!

TM4 - completely new buggy from front to back top to bottom. In my opinion the best vehicle in the Team C line up to date. Simply put a buggy that just needs to be driven. Easy to drive, easy to set up, extremely durable, super to work on.

T4 v3 - the previous model. As the name suggests the 3rd version of the T4. A very capable buggy but the leap to the TM4 is enough for me to say go TM4. You will not regret the decision. This buggy was upgraded numerous time but shared many of the components with the original platform the TC04

T4 FT - The factory team version of the T4. If I recall correctly has the Carbon fiber chassis

TC04 - the original platform with saddle packs

TR04 - where it all started.

I'm the only one racing one of these in my neck of the woods... just to confirm there's nothing out of the ordinary - does everyone else's car sound like this when on the throttle:

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzing, Zzzzzzzzzzzing? I've never heard anything like it before. Gear mesh seems good, car drives like a dream. It just sounds crazy.
