I ask how the recomendations from the electric offroad committee went and how they voted on them, thats all. The rest is rather boring to me.

I think that was an unfortunate and rather rude thing to happen to any track.

How about the RD throwing the f bomb at all the racers, do you think that may have fueled the "urinal"

There was alot of controversy surrounding that race pre and post, I believe that it was doomed from the get go.

I don't agree with ALOT of the way things were handled at that race.

It is unforunate that it turned out the way it did, I alway's wish that someone would invent a time machine so that we can go back and erase all the mistakes people make.

I'm sorry that it happenned to be quite honest. But again we can only learn from our mistakes and try to make things better in the future.

As far as the Cactus goes, yes I believe that they could get 500 entries if they could handle an amount of people like that. Again they offer both stock and mod at that race.

However, if these particular races only allowed mod or only stock classes, I do not think that they would draw that many.

Is there any way to put a blame on that? Was it the attitudes of the racers? Was it the attitude of the track owner, or was it ROAR's fault? It is only percieved that because it was a ROAR race, it must be ROAR's fault.

I don't know what to say about that race. I was pretty disgusted.

If you compare a ROAR on-road race to a non-sanctioned on-road race, the numbers are pretty stiffling in favor of the non=sanctioned events.

But as far as offroad goes, the numbers are pretty right on and ROAR nationals can compare to just about any of them.. and in most cases.... better.

Only blame to be placed on ROAR, in my opinion, was the ROAR offical should have stepped in during that out burst!
The ROAR offical should have taken the mic. and told the track owner "this ain't gonna happen" You can wait until you are calm or I will finish this meeting.....

I totally agree with that! You are singing to the choir here.

(Not meant as a flame post BTW)

Thats becasue off-road is not as popular right now, so the faithfuls still supporting ANY AND ALL off-road races they can.

On-road has more of a following so those ppl are choosing the Non-ROAR races....

How do you feel about this...

Region 3 can't find ANY TRACK to host a ROAR on-road event....... But I can name about 4 "BIG" races that have been put on in the last few moths with more to come!

That type of thing is part of the region directors job.... It states in the by-laws that they are to promote their region and regional events.

Take a look at Raffaelli in region 1.... This should be how all region directors do their jobs, and Homer is right, Raffaelli does a Kick Butt job in his region.

If I were a region director, I would be calling him everyday to ask his advice.

Sorry I don't agree with that.... OUt here in the west it is the opposite.

On-road is pretty stagnant here in AZ.

There is a guy on the other forum saying that Dawn didn't promote the on-road race in region 10.... Well being that I used to live in that region I know that on-road does not have a big following there... Has been that way since the last region re-alignment.

Fact is, some/most of this stuff is already in the works. I certainly would like to see it moving much more quickly that it is, but it is in the works...
