I have no idea what they use on the electrics. But the nitro days I was there it was all taper pins. I'd get the setup the guy above offered of horne, cirisi, and jonesy.

dado,

here is the b4 setup that we ran there.

front shock
#3 on tower
#2 on inside camber,1washer
A on caster block
outside on arm
-1 camber
30wt oil brown springs, #1piston, no limiters and shockends 2turns out
7205 pinks or 7206pinks depends on your driving.

rear
#1 on tower
inside on arm
#1 on inside for camber link, 1-2 washers
B on rear hub
-1camber
2degree anti
short wheelbase
black anti rollbar
25wt oil, silver springs, .030limiter #2piston
pink tapers in rear, trinity bomb1 inserts

ride height front level
rear bonez just below level.
1-1 1/2 oz in rear of car. depending on driving habit.

that should be a great starting setup and go from there depending on driving habits.

let me know if your close to that or how you like it.

Yep I run at shortrac every week, and pheasant run whenever they race. I'll be there next sat for the points race just racing gas truck. Then the run on sunday with the GT and 1/8 scale. Can't wait. When did you see the saginaw track last? I just got back and the track is pretty sweet now. Also it was grooving up today. First time I've ever actually seen rubber depositing on the track. If you're at the run next week come say hi, I've got the black and yellow cars painted like milk cows.

Have you seen the new michigan forums? Here's the link: rcxxx.com

Ahh. I remember now. Are you the one I ran stock buggy with and you'd said you'd been out of racing for awhile? I'll see ya at the run anyhow. Hehe, my 1/8 is in a million pieces right now. Kinda sux.

actually i just got back after using a setup i got from someone else. it seemed to work good, but my radio batteries died before i could get my driving settled. i only brought 1 charger battery and i was only planning to make a single run but i couldnt. i will be there sometime later this week i think. but i will be there tomorrow racing my T3. (if you are going to be there i am the 15 year old driving the blue T3 with flames and checkered flag on the hood). i might bring my B4 to drive before the race. i think ill get there early to make final minute tweaks to my truck.

well i broke my truck so i had to race the B4. i got 3rd in the B main, which im really unpleased with, i could have made the A if my car had the rear traction. i am having the biggest problems with getting my power down, i need more foreward bite. anyone have ideas? my tires are a bit worn and should be replaced, but other than that... also i decided to run my reedy quad magnet and it made me suprised at how few people use them. it really works amazing with all of its torque. i think people think they are slow because of how you need to gear them... but i find many advantages including a longer run time, and alot better acceleration(not that my car could use it). i bet with good tires i could pull a wheelie! any comments one this motor?
