So what's the question? The best 2 are the losi 2.0 and the tekno and you said tekno has limited support in your area so that leaves you with the losi. Get the losi can't go wrong with either. Good luck.

Sounds like for you the Losi is the top choice. Not that a Tekno is going to break often but maintenance will always be needed and no parts on hand will hurt you there.

RC Cars should be an enjoyable hobby Get a kit with great parts support in your local area, and you will also make friends with other fellow racers with the same kit. Best of all, you can also trade setup tips from your new friends

The losi 2.0 is easier to drive and is faster most of the time but, I used to have the losi and couldnt wait to get rid of it. The parts wear really fast and it requires tons of maintenance. The tekno is just as fast but doesnt feel as good while driving than the losi but it is a true 1/8 platform with 1/8 shocks. I feel the tekno parts are of better quality and you can be just as fast as a losi really easy. I had no problem beating the losi. This is just my opinion in driving the two.

i would go with the scte 2.0 if you wanted the best possible performance. The SCTE 2.0's and MIP SCTE's are like the only trucks at my local track (except for my Jammin )
