In this case, there are some cars that will be better than others. Obviously, a car with a very open drive train is not going to be a good fit for this application. He said that they try to keep the track in good condition but it doesn't always happen. This tells me that he will sometimes be racing on blown out tracks that have loose dirt flying around. A car like the Cat K1 Aero would be a poor choice due to the very open drive train that will take dust and compact it into the pulleys. The shaft driven cars will be better, but you will still be replacing spurs from time to time. You may also have some sudden failures if a small rock gets into the wrong place near the spur. I have even had it happen with 1/8th buggies and mod 1 spurs. So yes, there are things to consider when looking for a good outdoor car.

Of all of the factories i have driven for they have been the best at fixing issues quickly and accepting feedback from they drivers.
The TM4 is a complete new car, I dont think any of the T4 parts fit except for maybe the steering linkage and I am not positive about that.

Looking to try 4wd buggy thus season but my local tracks are all outdoors. They try there best to keep the tracks in the best shape possible they end up being more suitable for 4wd sc.
I'm interested in if anyone has experience running 4wd buggy in these conditions and if any of the various models stood out? Thank you.

It's solidly built, very stable on the track, and the sealed drivetrain is a thing of beauty.
