Default 1/10 buggy help

Hey guys! After mainly being a short course guy i decided i want to try out a buggy! I'm getting a b4.1 stock, once i get used to driving it i will upgrade motor, ESC, ect. Anyways does anyone have any tips or advice for me? When I'm getting my new motor i have no clue what to get, my track just mainly races 1/10 buggy weither its stock or mod, but I have no clue about 'turns' I'm used to KV. Also i don't need top of the line stuff like tekin, I'm a casual racer who will set his car aside once a week to go do some pratice laps. Anyone have a good motor/ESC combo? I run on a 1/10-1/8 scale indoor clay track. I've heard good about hobbywing ( ThePanda and FastPete convinced me into hobbywing ) . Also I'm going to need some tires, right now all i have for it is a set of proline caliber's, and I don't think those will do well on a clay track ( correct me if I'm wrong )

Is there much advantage of the b4.2? I heard main difference is just the shocks and the slipper clutch
