Angry Speed Passion Motor Wiring

Hello, I did a search first, with no luck.
I just purchased the SP Champion Edition Reventon ESC and 17.5 3.0 motor combo... the instructions for the wiring were vague.
the motor has 3 gold female plugs sticking out from the end bell, while the esc has 3 90* male plugs, which are size on size to the female plugs... no way they will plug in. Anyone come across this? thanks.

I'm not sure I follow what you are writing, but the motor might have the "female" plugs in the motor. You just pull them out. Once you have everything connected it makes things easier to swap out motors with another SP one. No solder iron

Here's a picture of a SP motor soldered up.
