A stadium truck should be much better? Or I should go to Short course truck???
Yes, I think those are better options.

Thanks a lot for the comments, I think I'm going for a DEST210 as is the cheaper stadium truck of a known brand, that and a 70C 2S lipo and I think it will run super good don't you guys think?
How fast can one of these trucks go? In the rtr version??

It will always go fast enough. What are your plans for parts support? Ordering online or a local hobby shop? I do run durango vehicles and I must warn you that most Local shops do not carry parts for them. I have to have most of my own spares on hand for racing. Just something else to consider. The internet seems to be the future market place which I have no problem using.

Good choice. The motor and esc in the rtr are actually really good. Speed passion motor and esc. As far as how fast it will go just depends on gearing. If you just want to do speed runs go with the smallest spur and biggest pinion that will fit. Also boost timing on motor an esc(if possible). Just keep an eye on temps of motor and esc to make sure it doesnt get hot. Like every pass. You can get some pretty good speed out of a 13.5 motor.

I don't plan on racing, I live in Uruguay and we don't have many tracks if there is any as today. Do you recommend to buy some spares to have in hand? There are not hobby stores either lol...

Thanks about the gears, I think I should search a lot about that...

Other thing, what are the differences if any between a 30C lipo and a 70C lipo?? With the same mAh??

Thumbs up

The only difference in a 30c and 70c pack is bottom end punch. If you are not racing I wouldn't worry to much about that. A 30c pack would suit you fine. With that 13.5 you probably wouldn't notice to much of a difference anyway. As far as spare parts, it wouldn't hurt to keep a few things on hand just in case. Things that tend to break most if you hit something are A-arms. But if its in your budget stock up on other parts also.

Thanks huzzler, I think I will get some parts down the road, first I will get the car and see how it goes, if I break something soon enough I know I will be stocking some spares
