Stadium Trucks :)

are there any new competitive trucks outside of ae, losi, and kyosho? i want to get rid of my shortcourse and back into st. seems like no one is making any new ones. i think if a few companys would put out some cool new platforms it would revive the class a bit

AE updated the T4 and TLR releaseed the 22t (rumor has it they're discontinuing it). Despite these two fresh trucks, popularity of the class doesn't seem to be coming back. 2wd buggy and SCT are as popular as ever.

Kyosho RT6, Durango DEST210. Yes the 22T is gone, but still very competitive.

Can't go wrong with the three you listed, all 3 work pretty much anywhere.

actually here in texas in the the land of outdoor tracks ST is the most popular 2wd class. 2wd Sc seems to be dead here besides the novice class.

The problem with ST is tire choice is gonna kill it i think. Especially with Losi out of the tire game.

double post

Stadium truck is dead wherei run at. What's your next thread gonna be? Who makes the best tire outside of ae, losi, and kyosho?

We still get 15 entries on average every Friday night for st. I run the durango dest, great truck with so much tuning options right out of the box. No need to buy additional parts

I don't get the not popular thing. It's our biggest class. D & E mains sometimes.

Hum who says it is it depends on what track your at diffrent states have more popular classes.

Personally i think racing a Staduim truck is much more enjoyble from racing a 2wd SC.

Not really Panther still makes ST tires JC concepts , Proline others still make racing treaded tires. Which small pin and bigger ones in all compounds. So i dont see it killing it.

There all competitive really they all just have diffrent handling and some do better on certain tracks etc and quality.

The Kyosho R6T i think is really overpriced. 22t from looking and driving them are not bad a couple of things i know need some hop ups on it.

I been running the T4.1 its a good truck handles good out of the box still wins at local club races a lot. The only thing i broke on it was a ball cup and Front carriers . The T4.2 is pretty good ive only saw one of them running though at the tracks i been to its mostly T4.1 .

Although it could use some updating liKE A t5 .

So i would say the T4.2 just from expreince driving the T4.1 .

I though it was terrible idea for Losi to stop making the 22t to begin with.

the TCO2C stadium truck from Team C is very liked by a few racers in the forums and is a cheap alternative. It's just a little hard to get parts.

I was pointing to the cancelation of the 22t and the other fresh models not selling well as a strong indicator of the class' continued decline. If it were doing well TLR would not cancel their model so quickly, especially considering how well the buggy is doing.

I enjoy ST too, just sharing my observation.
