That’s awesome Justin, they’ll love it. I’ve had good luck with my reedy sonic m3 and older Novak motors. Currently I’m using the reedy and it’s been nothing but good to me

Just picked up couple of B5m in 3 and 4 gear transmission and a b5 chassis. Thinking of using the 3 gear more. Was wondering what upgrades I should consider? It already have the front rear hinge pin brace and aluminium rear link mounts.

Also what is a good base setup for indoor carpet?

Been looking at the Reedy Sonic 540-M3 Motor SS 17.5 1S. What does 1s mean? I shouldn't use it in my buggy, Since I'll be running 2s?

What are you going to be using it for? Oval or off-road? Either way if you have plenty of rear traction, a laydown transmission from shapeways will move the motor weight forward an 1” or so. I race oval on carpet and just installed one can’t wait until Sunday so I can see the difference.

I use a 3 gear. I’ve never used a 4 gear yet. I have a 4 gear trans but have never installed it.

I cut the back of the servo case a little to allow the wires to exit the rear
