That's good to know. I'll be running mine for the first time tomorrow night at the track for a test n tune session.

Mine is box stock setup except for B5 front arms, front tower and rear arms. I am also running the aluminum front pin brace, aluminum rear ball stud mount, aluminum rear hexes, Lundsford titanium turnbuckles and blue Bar Codes front/rear, HW stock spec V3.1, Trinity D4 17.5 Maxzilla, Savox 1257tg, Futaba 4PLS.

Lot of stuff going on at home the last couple weeks so I am really glad that I will finally be able to get out and run the car.

Can you let me know what you changed specifically? Im running kit setup on high bite clay and I feel like it pushes way too much on power steering. I'm used to driving SCTs with tons of oversteer

By their nature 2wd buggies don't have a lot of on power steering. Coming from sct you're gonna have to adjust your driving more than the car.

Have you tried the offset bushings? Stiffer rear spring? I run white rear springs and I use 1.6 pistons in the rear.

You running a shorty?

I just looked up the kit setup because I dont recall what it was. Looks after a bunch of tuning, I am mostly kit setup lol.

- I am using the kit camber link
- white/grey front springs for high bite, green fronts for medium bite
- I am using the Avid Triad Evo Slipper instead of stock
- I am running 2 limiters front and 1 limiter rear
- 1.6 pistons all around
- 32.5/30 oils
- rear shocks in at the top
- inline esc and receiver wit the saddle pack all the way back and sideways
- and I did a few things to drop the weight to 1560. I like that car at that weight

Thanks guys, that's what i was suspecting. The car looks good out of the box.

How are the new ball cups? Do they have a lot of slop after a few runs? (i'm used to racing TCs so slop was the enemy!)

Yes, I'm running SMC shorty packs. I may try a saddle if I need too for more weight.

your running mod? Saddles are really only needed on lower bite.

No, I'm running stock 17.5

I already have a saddle pack from my B44 in case I need to try it. But the track usually has pretty good bite from what I've seen.

oh, you probably wont like the saddles in the car for 17.5. The car is already pretty heavy. You might want to actually work on getting the weight down some.

Interesting the B5 and B5m are both in the web special section of the AE website. They seem to put stuff there to close out the inventory...... Makes me wonder if a FT version is in the works to replace them.
