thanks for the quick reply. yeah, i didn't mean to imply that the plastic was terrible. i just feel like if i'm going to possibly crack this part again, i'd probably get something more durable. it hasn't completely broken yet, but i'm sure it will soon.
i just couldn't find anything on google (very easily, at least) that explained the differences between the aluminum or brass/bronze pieces.
as it is now i've just re-ordered the plastic pieces since the price between the different versions is minimal.

cool! good to know. thanks for the reply!
i emailed ae/reedy and they replied super quick saying that it looked like my battery puffed and caused a stress crack. that's crazy. :|
however, they're sending out a new battery! that's so awesome.

ended up putting in a reedy sonic mach 2 8.5 motor w/viper vtx10-be as my esc with a Team Associated 29166 DS1313 servo. this thing screams. i really like the customization i get with the esc, it's a lot of fun. can't wait to get it out to a track!

I clean my arms & cups with Endust.
Keeps every thing smooth & a nice lemony smell..
Each day I spray some on a paint brush and polish the car with as well.

My team mates don't have any cups blinding, one did when he got his kit .
He replaced them and took more care installing them.

If you're going to be racing, make sure you get tires and inserts that produce the best laptimes at your local track.
