You already have them! And if they made AE ones that were slightly tighter or not as tight, then it wouldn't be the same as what you like now. If they are truly the exact same, then it doesn't really matter what ones are in there does it?

Is he using the TLR #55 tlr 22 pistons? And I agree, something difference is not the same. Cant compare different brands or machined vs molder pistons.

Yeah, a lot of people are using the 55's in the RB6 and B5M. Heck I'm gonna try them too.

Maybe but they are also going up in oil - I think 37.5 front and 32.5 rear.

I am running 32.5 with 1.6s in the rear now to prevent slapping. Seems like I would lose a bunch of pack with 55's in the rear. I cant stand a car that slaps on landings.

You just need to drive his car for a few laps...

Only then will you know if it's the car or Spenser...

ok, since people think I am completely crazy bad mouthing AE ball cups. I made a little video. all of the parts for both AE and TLR were brand new and no prep work was applied. Please dont confuse my cup review as AE bashing. I have been running AE cars for over 20 years and they are my preferred brand. But, I wont close my eyes, plug my ears, turn off my brain and convince myself that all is right in the B5 universe. I didnt have time today to demonstrate my polished, pinched and broken in cups. They are better than the new AE stud/cup, but not even 1/3 the freeness of the TLR setup. Also, I have run the tlr cups on my 22 for 9 months. Never broken a cup and they are still as tight as the first day.

Enjoy

I'm currently running 3x1.4 flats all the way around with 35/f 30/r and stock springs. May make some adjustments for a bit more forward bite. Put in a Schelle slipper yesterday and raced it last night in mod class. Definitely puts down the power better.
