Cool thanks guys. But yah I'm not going to try the b4 tower if it's not the same. I just figured if it was the same why not go with the carbon fiber.

Has anyone installed a FT Anti-roll Bar Kit on their B5M yet? My son runs on a med-high bite track. Usually run blue Dirt Webs with Dirt Tech inserts. He runs JConcepts Anti-roll Bar Kits on his short course and stadium truck but I would think those vehicles have more lateral movement. I recall seeing a visibly difference in those vehicles going around the track when testing with or without the Anti-roll Bars.
Just wondering if anyone has tried this option out yet on their B5M and if they have any feedback for a similar track.
I'm just his pit man so getting driver feedback from my son can sometimes be a challenge, and since I don't race yet, it is even harder to understand how the car feels to him since I can't make it around the first turn yet.....someday.
Thank you in advance for your feedback.

Ah, yeah I used to race nitro. Fun, but way to expensive and losing a race to a flamout just pissed me off. Plus I dont want to kill off my 9 year old just yet. Maybe when she is a teen We dont have AC here indoor either...we have swamp coolers, lol. I guess they are much cheaper to use than AC, but they add a bunch of humidity.
In addition, tried the b5m at my track. I tuned it so it was decent (small, low to medium bite hard packed indoor dirt current layout has some 180's). But, never tried the rear motor front arms/tower and rear arms. I'm trying that next. I ran my b5 rear motor last night for the first time. wow, much faster. But, I still believe that b5m will be faster for me. we'll see.

Love my B5m so far gain nearly 1 sec over my RM KR schmacher in 17.5. But I have a tire question I'm looking at the new proline 2.4 tire and want to know if anyone has tried them out yet.

[QUOTE=Wildcat1971;13330909]Yeah, I converted my backup car because I planned to spend some time with the MM trying things. To be honest, it went much better than I expected it too.
Side note: Why the hell does indoor season die in the summer? Its 110+ degrees here, I have no desire top be outdoors.
Side Side Note: SRS is opening indoors next week. And they "copies" the dirt mix from WCRC. So its going to be a higher bite indoor clay track. They have a grand opening race weekend coming up, if you can make the drive you should.

Living in Missouri we have crazy weather from about October until the end of March. Like 70 degrees one day, and snow the next. Once Spring and Summer arrive and the weather is consistent people take off to the lake, bike riding and some outdoor nitro RC. RC tracks are few and far between around here because it is so seasonal. When the weather is good people go outdoors because time is limited to get the outdoor activities done.

Yeah one of the perks of living here I guess. all year racing. Nitro is not overly popular here. 8th scale in general. I looked into ebuggy, but no one really does it. And ebuggys are stupid fast. I would want a bigger outdoor track for sure.

on the rollbars.. yes they are great.. for choppy hard pack the black or thin one is good.. for carpet or super high bite.. the white or thick bar.. easy to adjust and the middle bar works for anything in between. I don't even change my setup much anymore from rough outdoor setup to indoor high bite... I just put on the swaybar and its close to being dialed... then just a fine change here or there.

looking to see if there are any base starting setups for this buggy for a loose outdoor track. Race line is hard packed with dust and is blown out here and there. Right now im on 1.6pistons 30f,27.5 rear, 3 toe 1squat. The rest is kit settings?

Hi guys looking at getting one of these and running it in our stock classes in australia. Looking to run a nosram 17.5T blinky. Could anyone give me some good gearing options for it to run a 6 min run without frying the speedy or motor. Cheers

I have tried the thin black outside when it was colder and the track had good traction.. but I think the car is better outside without them... it was just to see how it worked kind of thing... indoors they work great and are a great tuning option.. what I said was it was nice as I didn't have to change my outdoor setup other then install the swaybar and then it felt really good inside as well.... then just some fine changes depending on indoor track.
tracks that are outdoor blue groove type tracks are where the rollbar will be nice to have.
hope that makes more sense :-)
