There is always ways to better the car after release. Even if AE tested it 100's of hours. Once you get the car into all of the team drivers hands across the country as well as the general public you will learn new things.

lets say that is true and inline is the best. All the team drivers run their cars that way. What are the Odds that AE will design and release a new chassis? I think it doubtful. They might. The did release the +8, but i have a feeling this would be a bigger change and require more changes to molds.
If the AE people follow this forum they must be getting a good laugh about all this "inline" setup talk. I am going to go out on a limb here and say the inline setup was tested before the release of the car. Its funny how a new car comes out and all these people start hacking away with their dremel tools to better a car that was just released with hundreds of man hours testing. I bet if the inline setup was better it would have been released with it. I guess some can keep hacking away with the dremel while the rest of us go race and have fun.

Not sure what Mr. Cherry is runnin for springs.
I'm not saying it will never be a setup which folks use, but I'm not seeing the advantages right now.

[QUOTE=gticlay;13279749]When you listen to this interview, it sounds like they didn't really test the B5M very much or at all. But ???
AE plays all their cards close to the chest so none of us will every know for sure, but after building two MM's and seeing the quality of the parts I am confident lots of time went in the design.

I know they wont give up the sq pack. They would need to redesign the chassis to do inline, shorty sideways and sq pack. kinda like how the guys are modding them. I doubt AE will do it. It would require a fair amount of redo.
