I had a GREAT night of racing with my B5. I have been wanting to go MM, but after last night....I am not so sure. At least on the current layout. My car get better and better as I learn how it likes to be driven....hard. I pulled off a fast lap of about 19.6 and had a good run to make the second spot in the B tonight (28ish drivers). After messed up the start of t he race and ended up last, I worked my way back up into second with a series of mid 19s laps. my top15 was only separated by less than a second. In the Amain, I made it as high as middle of the pack, but cracked under pressure and dropped back to last, but turned some of my fastest laps ever with a fast lap of about 19.021. Towards the end of the race I fell apart, lol. I am not used to 7 minute races and my batteries did not hold up..I should have skipped the 2 minute practice. I started casing jumps and with the power loss, the car felt off. But I was in the fight for a while and had a blast. My RM car has plenty of steering on medium bite indoor hard packed wet clay.

Thank you! Will probably just do that! I tried doing that on Amain and it was around $120 if I remeneber right! I got time. My track is currently high bite clay and my rear is doing awesome right now. Finally got it to that sweet spot. And now guess what? There going euro style carpet! So I'm thinking that a mid is gonna be a lot faster. Plus I already have 2 rears so might as well convert one

yeah, I picked up a second b5 at a very good price and plant to convert it to MM. I really want some wheel time on the MM to give it a proper evaluation, but my RM car is very good right now.

I cut out so much plastic from my b5m but I completely missed that I can cut those triangles on the motor guard

Thank you, the change in weight balance is quite noticable when driving. In fact ride height dropped 1 mm in front & raised 1.5mm in the rear after the mod.
This why I suggested to check ride height before running with the inline.

latest

I installed the 4 x #55 losi pistons, 37.5w front & 32.5w rear.

Going to try them out tonight for practice.
These pistons are for improved handling or feel in the corner, they do not improve jumping or landings.

Considering I've broken a plastic rear camber mount and don't really need to further tune my rear hubs, I'll go with what makes most sense for me.

How do you you know they will yield improved feel in the corner if you are going to try them? ( meaning not tried them yet )
