I'm waiting on new wire, then I'll try esc up front. Ran it outdoors today but the track was bone dry. More runs Wednesday night.

Mark will your esc fit the other way? your motor wires could be almost cut in half if you did that. And would make no difference in your battery leads.

Anyone try this with a R10 esc yet?

That's what I was thinking. Then if you don't like how it handles you can just flip the battery sideways like before with no re wiring or re locating everything

How did you like it compared to the normal setup?

Most of the guys that are replacing plastics are trying the hard composite stuff. From what I know these pieces have less flex than the standard plastics. So with that said they have a greater chance of snapping in wrecks. From what I heard from some of the guys running them is that it allows for the suspension and all the mechanical parts to do their job rather than some of it being soaked up in flex. I personally have only ran the stock plastics and setup and had a few rough tumbles due to high speed traction rolls coming off the straight into a table jump. The worst that has happened was a bent turnbuckle. I am still using the stock ones which are not very durable. Most guys switch over to the lunsford ones (still waiting for backorder).

I have RB6 in mid, will say it turns way better then my B5m. I'm still working on set up to get that turn in that I like.

Are you using stock setup with a small pad between battery and waterfall brace?

Any pics of yours? I don't understand fully. Also i'm not a fan of reciever on the right anyone putting it up on a tray or something different?

Remove inside legs off water fall.
Slide Esc under water fall, only a 1/4 of Esc fits under the water fall.
Battery in front of Esc.
Receiver on right side of battery.

Note:
Grinding the battery tray is for more flex in front of waterfall to achieve more traction.

Jmoney, test each and tell everyone your results. Prove your theory...

I already done, and posted the results however..LOL

I'm confused ! I don't have a waterfall in my B5m unless your referring to the tranny brace? If so why not just remove the brace instead of cutting it.

Here is my inline setup. I went with the battery all the way back. Also i didnt cut out the battery box. I want to be able to switch back and forth to normal setup and inline setup to see what i like best.

Yes that is what every one is referring to. I wouldn't recommend removing it as its considered the front mount for your tranny.
