You won't have to push the car as hard to maintain corner speed.
Looking forward to the results. I did turn in some 4wd lap times yesterday with the MM So I know I'm on to something. Would like to try white/white but I think it'll just end up in traction rolling end of straight. Like someone mentioned, we have way more traction than most people can even imagine @ TRCR, and at certain times of the day,TRCR has even more that Mikes in B'ham does. For example, we have this little bump on the straight as you enter it and I have t be very careful with the RM but even the MM did some wheelies!

Yep! And people think they can't win stock without a hot motor and lightened drivetrain...

I will say though. that the locals with the light drive terrain and warmer packs look like mod cars out there. very fast.

Got a chance to get some track time with the B5 at OSRC in Ocean Springs, MS. Very plush and responsive as mentioned by most here on the forum. Looking forward to racing it next weekend.

Debating this inline mod. I already run my battery all the way foward. Doing the inline mod is similar your moving the weight foward. I'm assuming that's were you getting your more steering from. But get more of a inline weight balance with the battery inline

Anyone lap times drop on doing this mod??

this is starting to remind me of the tlr22 mod fest to make the car good. The car should be great out of the box IMO, like the RM car

Every B5M I have seen, were stock, and the owners raved about the car!

IMHO some people just have to tinker with stuff. I just got mine built and haven't ran it yet. Big test in 2 weeks as my first race will be at a big race!

Same for me. Mine is box stock and will stay that way. I absolutely love the car the way it sits. And for basic sportsman class it's awesome.

Nah, I'm not too serious when it somes to racing. I'm a front/middle of the pack guy that races in the sportsman class. I just have fun and work on being consistant for the most part.

After painting the inside black, I sand blasted the outside with glass etching media. Blasted the wing also. Gives the glossy lexan a frosted or matte finish.

That's a great way to look at it. Yes,tinkering is fine but I think there are some in this thread who apparently get off on saying the things they are testing are the best/only way to do things.
